The section

Arc is a Layer 1 blockchain built by Circle, the issuer of USDC. It uses USDC as its gas token and launches its public mainnet on 16 September 2026.

Seven memecoin launch venues have attached themselves to the chain before it has processed a single mainnet block. A chain whose gas is a regulated dollar stablecoin, and whose founding validator set includes BlackRock, Visa and Mastercard, is also the chain a field of memecoin launchpads, most of which have not published their fee terms, has chosen for its opening week. Both of those things are true at once, and the reporting lives in the gap between them.

This desk covers the memecoin layer of Arc as a beat: who launched, on which venue, under which liquidity model, and what happened to the token afterwards. It does not cover price, it does not publish targets, and it does not tip. Where a number appears it is on-chain or it is attributed and dated.

Launch data — tokens launched, the share of launches with a published lock record, survival at day seven, median first-day volume — is compiled weekly and published as a dated data piece rather than a running counter, because a counter no reader can audit is not data.

Incidents get their own coverage. A rug, a failed graduation, a lock that turned out not to be a lock, a venue that stops answering: these are reported with the on-chain evidence attached and without inference about intent.

The venues, in one paragraph

The field splits on what happens to liquidity, not on what the launch form looks like. Some venues run a bonding curve with a graduation event and burn or permanently lock the position at the end of it. Some deploy the supply single-sided into a concentrated pool at launch and lock it permanently. One, Bullcheese, launches single-sided and locks the position through a third-party contract with the fee stream still claimable, per TrustSwap, the operator (Sept 2026); it opens on 16 September 2026, mainnet day. That distinction decides whether the creator's LP fee stream survives the lock, and whether a buyer can verify the position rather than trust a launch page.
