Arc Mainnet, T-minus 1: tomorrow, complete
Twelve issues ago this countdown started. Tomorrow the network opens. Here is everything that matters for day one, in the order you will need it — and the few things worth refusing to do.
Circle's public mainnet opens tomorrow, September 16. This issue is the field guide.
The day-one sequence
Morning: the mainnet parameters — chain ID, RPC, explorer — publish on Circle's official channels; our launch post will carry them sourced within minutes, and the wallet guide updates the moment they exist. Add the network; nothing before those parameters are official is real.
Then, money: real USDC reaches Arc by bridge via CCTP or, as exchange support lands, direct withdrawal. Test amounts first, today of all days. Then, the ecosystem: the day-one apps open — DEXes, lenders, tooling — and the first new Arc tokens will start appearing within hours.
The refusals, one last time, because tomorrow is when they pay
- No ARC token launches tomorrow. The network runs on USDC by design, so every ARC trading tomorrow is counterfeit, without exception.
- No airdrop exists to claim. Tomorrow's claim ARC sites will be drainers enjoying their best traffic day ever.
- The first tokens on a new chain are historically rug season. If you buy anything this week, check the lock on-chain first; it takes five minutes and it is the difference between early and exit liquidity.
What we are watching in week one
So you know what our coverage will mean: fee stability under real load; USDC bridged in, the honest adoption number; which institutions move from announcement to activity; and whether a token scene forms, and how much of it launches with verifiable locks. The data page goes live with mainnet; the daily briefing continues at 09:00 UTC, countdown badge retired.
